About This Game Dimension Jump is a precision puzzle platformer, where you don’t just jump between platforms, you jump between dimensions! I would say it isn't as hard as some other precise platformers as the real challenge comes from collecting stars and beating the stages under a certain amount of time. Great little game. Easy to pick up and play. There are 9 worlds with 10 levels, and each level has a time attack and a star that is hard to get. The game starts out easy enough, but after halfway through, it gets challenging. The end is brutal. Beware if you're trying for 100%. Once I got to around world 6, getting the extra stars got really hard. It's more than just being fast, you have to start avoiding moving obstacles, and it adds a timing element into the speed rush part of it.Great music. Just one soundtrack, but you don't seem to get tired of it. Definitely worth it for the price.. It's a spicy meme.. It's a fantastic puzzle platformer; that requires both planning and reflexes.What the game makes lacks in eye candy in more then makes up for with gameplay.New systems get added every level-set and will make you rethink how to bend the world. First you begin between toggling the world between two states then come switches, gravity rotation, teleportation, lazers etc. Controls could be a bit more fluid but are quick to adapt to.The levels are well crafted and challenging. They'll make you think outside the block andfeel incredibly satisfying once completed.. Great game. Reminds me very much of Super Meat Boy and other hard platformers like it, so its good for those who enjoy a bit of a challenge and like games that require a bit of thinking.. The worst part of the experience, which should be its strength, are the controls. I found myself having to use keyboard at certain times, because the J-stick on Steam controller was not responsive enough for some of the faster maneuvers :( Then, on other levels keyboard was not right and I have to use j-stick.Lack of tight/responsive controls, really takes down what could be a nice platform/puzzlers.Considering the high price, control issues and general lack of novelty, I can ONLY suggest this on the cheap for the HARDCORE platformers.ACHIEVEMENTS: Many tightly timed trials, which are not my favorite ;) That means this one will be tough to 100%ISSUES: 1.) Controls using J-stick are not responsive enough on certain tight maneuvers (had to use keyboard arrows)2.) Dimension jump has excellent level design; with abilities that are easy to learn but challenging to master. This is a game that will test your planning and ingenuity as well as your reflexes.The vanilla game is divided into multiple sets of 10 levels; with new puzzle mechanics being introduced each time. Such include: swapping dimensions, lock switches, flipping Gravity, different movable\/breakable objects, warping lazers, timers etc. Stages are unique, quick and fair; resulting in a nice \u201cjust one more go\u201d type feeling.There\u2019s a fantastic sense of progression as well. You only need to complete 7-8 levels of a set to unlock the next 10. Achievements are plentiful and are spread out quite evenly.Replayability wise: there\u2019s speed-run leaderboards and hard to reach bonus stars in each level which require you to find more innovative ways to complete each level. Then there's the level editor: making your own levels and sharing them is pretty intuitive in this game :).. Fun little game - not too hard until the last couple of 'worlds', but a solid platformer with a decent challenge.
